Beyond the Blackout: Creating Connections for the DC Event Community

Anderson House, Washington DC

Beyond the Blackout was co-produced by LaJoy Plans and Bright Occasions in response to the larger Black Lives Movement and inequities in the events industry. This socially distant event was held at one of DC’S iconic venues Anderson House and featured a vendor panel discussion, amazing opening performance of Sam Cooke’s A Change is Gonna Come and delicious bites.
